Three women, and the whole of India

Our logo is three women, side by side, each dressed in the colours of a different India. They stand together for the traditions, languages and customs this country holds at once — and for the promise that a Rang journey shows you more than one of them.

Rang means colour. It is also the word for the mood of a place, and for the pitch a festival reaches when the whole village is in the courtyard. “Explore the colours of India” is not a slogan here; it is the brief for every itinerary we write.

Six shades of a Rang journey

  1. Personalised

Handpicked experiences and local guides; every itinerary shaped to the traveller.

  2. Memorable

From sunrise at the Taj Mahal to the backwaters of Kerala, every moment becomes a story.

  3. Authentic

Rooted in centuries-old traditions, living festivals and deep spirituality.

  4. Cultural

Countless languages, dances, cuisines and customs — each region with its own identity.

  5. Trusted

Trusted hospitality, guided tours and safe experiences, for adventure and peace of mind.

  6. Inspiring

The spiritual aura of Varanasi, the royal elegance of Rajasthan, the Himalaya.

Designed by people who have walked it

Rang Travels is a small Delhi company, trading since 2018, run by two curators with fourteen years each in Indian tourism. There is no call centre — the person who plans your journey is the person the reviews thank by name.

Mamlesh Sahu

Curator of Journeys

Fourteen years in destination management and tour planning. Mamlesh designs the cultural and photography-led journeys — he knows where the light falls on a Jaisalmer lane at five in the evening, and which village Holi is worth the drive.

“Mamlesh took very good care of our entire group… we had lots of laughs alongside our exciting travels!”

Trekking expeditions, wildlife and guided escorts. Rishi builds the Himalayan and safari itineraries and often leads them himself — a naturalist who plans for safety first and then for the moment you will remember.

“Thank you for the excellent arrangements for our Golden Triangle tour. Everything was thoughtfully planned and executed with great attention to detail.”

How we work

  1. First

Tell us the India you want

A month, a pace, the things you have always wanted to see — and the things you would rather avoid.

  2. Then

We design it, day by day

A written itinerary with every halt, distance and drive time, the hotels named and the price itemised. You change it until it is yours.

  3. On the road

We run it — and often travel with you

Your own car and driver, a guide in every city, and a phone that is answered.

In their own words

Verbatim Google reviews — several in Italian, because Italy found us early. Read them all on Google and TripAdvisor.

“I had an incredible adventure with Rang Travels in Northern India earlier this year! The tour was jam packed. I loved the beautiful forts and buildings we visited, the markets, as well as the stunning World Heritage hotels. This tour gave me a real taste for India, and I felt very comfortable for my first time visiting! Mamlesh took very good care of our entire group, meeting our many demands as travelling dancers… we had lots of laughs alongside our exciting travels!”
